I just cannot resist the pattern of window dots.

and so it inspired

and the today and forever tea towel too.

sometimes when I'm in my kitchen

I just feel so lucky to be designing linen tea towels. 

I keep them handy in a big ceramic bowl next to the stovetop, 

new ones and old ones, and just grab them 

to use as potholders or hotpads or 

for drying the counters or my hands. 

I love the texture that comes through the inks 

as they're washed time and time again.

off to Italy

I wish it was me who was off to italy... 

but these lucky aprons and tea towels 

are going to milan today 

for a photo shoot at

la cucina italiana magazine.

I can just picture them... hmmmm.

new stuff, new site

and final-don't-look-back choices 

and screening and sewing and photography 

and photoshop and website work and 

waiting and more waiting and testing

tea towel scarves?

a studiopatro customer at the etsy / west elm sale

bought tea towels for her sister who wears them as scarves. 

she tried one of our washed samples, mandala in mineral, 

to see if it would work, and 

voila!

(so I tried it myself...)
